This Is What the Edge of Your Seat Was Made For is the debut EP by British metalcore band Bring Me the Horizon, released on 30 October 2004 through Thirty Days of Night Records. The EP contains five tracks and includes re-recordings of songs previously featured on the band's demo releases. The EP received critical acclaim and helped to establish Bring Me the Horizon as a prominent band in the UK metalcore scene. The title of the EP is derived from the opening line of the track "Tell Slater Not to Wash His Dick".
